Agreements with TER LLC and Quadra - Power Generation PJSC were signed at the anniversary of the Ural Turbine Works

Ural Turbine Works (ROTEC holding) signed an agreement with TER LLC (part of Gazprom energoholding LLC). The subject of the agreement is the supply of modern extraction steam power turbines with a capacity of up to 330 MW to upgrade the generation equipment of Mosenergo PJSC and TGC-1 PJSC. In particular, it is planned to manufacture new turbines of the T-100 type, as well as to upgrade steam turbines of the ПТ-60, ПТ-80, T-100, T-250 types. TER LLC is one of the largest Russian companies for major construction, maintenance and repair of power assets. DSC_0729_2.jpg.jpg

Quadra — Power Generation PJSC also plans to involve the Ural Turbine Works in the upgrading of the main generation equipment fleet.

The signing of the documents took place as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Ural Turbine Works. The event was attended by customers and partners of the works - foreign and Russian companies: Belenergo, Minskenergo, Pavlodarenergo, Mosenergo, Inter RAO Group, TGC-2, TGC-16, Quadra, AGC-1, Fortum and many more.  50 employees of the works were awarded industry certificates of commendation and certificates of gratitude of the region, 5 plant workers were recommended for state awards.

The Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev noted in the telegram of greetings: “Hundreds of machines created in Ural provide the cities dwellers from Sakhalin to Kaliningrad with heat and light. The works is well regarded in the domestic and foreign markets. Your products meet the highest international standards. It is well known in Eastern Europe, Egypt, Mongolia, China, Korea, India, and Japan.”

Over the years, the works supplied 907 steam turbines, as well as 573 gas turbines of various types. UTW equipment has reliable performance in 27 countries of the world.
